Tasked by Parkwood Entertainment for shop.beyonce.com, the “BeySearch Collection”, filled with a plethora of images of the global start, is a collection inspired by the 90s teenage bedroom walls and today’s meme culture. The name is an ode to the millions of photos that can be searched on the internet of Beyoncé’s many memorable moments and moods from photo opps, concerts, and music videos.
Beyonce.com is a site dedicated to exclusive content of the global star’s day to day life, performances, music releases, and special moments she chooses to highlight. My contribution as a digital designer and creative producer ranges from creating graphics & handmade collages to managing the social calendar to feature layouts for birthdays, anniversaries, or the outfit of the day.
The content of this section of the site is strictly confidential and intended for the recipient to view the works. It is strictly forbidden to share any part of the content on this site with any third party, without a written consent of the sender.

Tasked by the WNBA, our team at Sylvain Labs reimagined and rebranded the league’s identity that catered to a more diverse and younger target audience. My role as a contributing art director and designer was to explore fresh, high level design approaches and collaborate with the strategy team to develop creative content for social media. We were intentional about every aspect of the design direction from a custom typeface by Production Type to the logo and handpicking future women photographers to document the games from a new perspective.

How can a black woman's hair be expressed within a digital space? Shifting the conversation away from the one-style-fits-all mantra, The Hairspace Project is a digital space for the progressive discussion and documentation of black hair and women. Through curation and collaboration it is a platform for artworks, reflections, interviews and thoughts on why hair is such an important part of a black woman’s appearance from their point of view.
The idea is beyond the follicles that grow from one’s scalp; it tells a story that has a journey which is certainly worth sharing.
